The next Introduction to Judaism class will begin November or December, 2026 at Congregation Ahavas Israel, 2727 Michigan St. NE, Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. It is a basic overview of Jewish history, ritual, life cycle, holidays, and thought. The cost for the class is $100 for members and supporters of the synagogue, $125 for non-members. If you have registered and paid for the class in the past, there is no charge. If you attended in past years but missed some sessions, feel free to attend just the sessions you missed.
The class is appropriate for Jews wanting to expand their background and fill in missing pieces of their basic education, people interested in exploring conversion to Judaism, and others just wanting to learn more about Judaism or the Jewish background behind Christianity.
