Assuming sufficient enrollment, the class will be held in person at Congregation Ahavas Israel, 2727 Michigan St. NE, Mondays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., beginning in December, 2025. It is a basic overview of Jewish history, ritual, life cycle, holidays, and thought. If you cannot come in person I may be able to offer a zoom link, but it is far better to come in person. The cost for the class is $100 for members and supporters of the synagogue, $125 for non-members. If you have registered and paid for the class in the past, there is no charge. If you attended in past years but missed some sessions, feel free to attend just the sessions you missed.
The class is appropriate for Jews wanting to expand their background and fill in missing pieces of their basic education, people interested in exploring conversion to Judaism, and others just wanting to learn more about Judaism or the Jewish background behind Christianity.
Contact Rabbi Krishef ASAP if you are interested in registering.
